Type of business: Medical
IVF Australia is one of Dzines’ most successful projects to date. IVFAustralia
grew from
a single site medical practice to a four
site medical group.
Project:
David was originally hired to solve a sharing problem.
Information between the scientific department and
the medical group itself was not able to be shared
through the existing database in place. For this
purpose Dzines developed OMZ-Office Medical Solutionz
(based on our exsiting DMZ files) which solved the
problem. The company merge brought on new problems.
The need to unify the computer systems in place.
The need for intranet communications. The need to
safeguard information at different levels, and the
need to network and efficiently share information.
We developed a “contact-centric” business
strategy that allowed information to be gathered
in one spot efficiently, securely managed at different
levels for accurate reporting and shared across
the four different medical groups.
June 2003 IVFAustralia’s head accountant Dan
Paulsberg:
“ I want to thank you for the commitment you have
made to IVFAustralia (IVFA). We are seeing immediate
dividends to the IT rollout at South and North."
September 2003
IVFAustralia’s IT Manager Katie Porter:
“ I just wanted to
say that I think you have written a great program.
I had several queries from staff today and I was
able to say OMZ can do that and they were happy.
Staff are starting to move through the files well.
Thank you!”

Type of business: A leading
Architectural / Interior Design Company which had
multiple software packages to handle their projects.
Project:
Dzines developed a system to allow them to handle
client information, projects, marketing, correspondence
and invoicing all in one package.
This is what Director
Rachel Dulson had to say: “ We have built up a fairly large number of contacts
which is now accessible by the whole company. We
find that this is invaluable and very time saving.
We are now able to track all correspondence by person,
company or project, again saving us a lot of time.
When we invoice by the hour being able to print
out accruate timesheets that are presented to the
client is invaluable."

Type of business: Photographic
Industry Association Project:
ACMP needed a database for judging
multiple photographic entires for their annual Collections’
book, sponsored by Fuji. They were working off an

gather scores which could be directly shared with

IVF City West
Manager Andrew Treptow :
“
David I can’t begin to express my personal
gratitude and thanks for your effort and support
during the development of our new practice management
system. Your prompt repsonse to all our requests
for help has not gone unnoticed. Some of the factors
that continued to impress us throughout the total
project are as follows:
• The appointment diary needed to be changed
from being a single user data entry file, to a very
strong multi appointment file to allow a better
interface and ease of use in order to avoid data
entry mistakes.
• The transfer of all existing data from the
existing system to the new program was again managed
most effectively by yourself resulting in a minimum
of manual data entry into the new system.”
